Jersey Shore Custom Carpentry

JSCC partnered with duraplex on a complete demo and rebuild of my second story deck. The obvious things you’ll see in the photos are the quality of work, the craftsmanship, the attention to detail. The deck came out better than I ever could have ever imagined!

So here’s the not so obvious stuff:

These guys showed up every day, on time HAPPY to be there. These guys were pleasant and respectful to my wife, my neighbors and my property. They ALWAYS cleaned up after themselves. They were ALWAYS professional. They NEVER made me feel like I was a bother when I checked in with them. They were always HAPPY to give me updates, answer my questions and educate me through out the entire process. What I want everyone to know is that Chris, Pat, Jesse and everyone else that lent a hand in this project are, simply and truly, good people.

It was a pleasure to have them complete this project for me. These are the guys you want to work with!

My husband and I recently hired Chris and his team to add a dry bar, custom built ins and cabinetry above our washer and dryer. He worked with us to make sure we could complete the tasks within our budget without sacrificing any of our “must haves”. We are so in love with it all and how it came out! Chris took our inspiration photos and brought it all to life, completely transforming our house.

Our built ins have lighting that can be changed from cool to warm and dimmed based on what you want. We’ve never seen anything like it- it really makes the room feel so much more luxurious and gives the room a “wow” factor that continues to blow us, and our guests, away. Our dry bar had custom tiles we purchased on our honeymoon that Chris’s team cut into the tile backsplash, making it lay flat and makes the entire bar area so much more personal and special. The communication was top notch.

No matter what time it was, I always received a reply immediately. Chris was very attentive and constantly checking in on the progress. He and his team were meticulous to make sure everything was perfect. You could tell that each person has a passion for what they do and truly love it, making us feel like we were in good hands every step of the way.

When the job was finished, Chris completed the job by hiring cleaners who cleaned not just the area they worked in, but our entire first floor! Our house had never been so clean and it was so amazing to have everything finished, a fresh clean house and the ability to relax and admire the beautiful job they did. This type of service went above and beyond in my opinion and shows how much Chris cares about his clients and the end product.

We will absolutely be using JSCC for any and all future projects and are already recommending him to any friends/family who mention wanting to do something around their house. Do yourself a favor and hire JSCC, you won’t regret it .

We recently had built-in cabinets installed in our living room by Chris and his team, and the whole experience was great from start to finish.

Chris was super easy to work with—great communication, always kept us in the loop, and stuck to the timeline he gave us. He and his crew were really clean and respectful while working in our home, and they clearly take pride in what they do.

The craftsmanship on the built-ins is amazing. Everything looks beautiful and was done with so much attention to detail. Chris also made some really helpful recommendations along the way but always checked in to make sure we were happy with the direction.

Team at JSCC are absolute craftsmen. I needed to replace a buckled ceiling on a covered porch. The quality of their finished product far exceeded my expectations and Chris ensured we met our timeline. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about how much we love the outcome of the project Chris and his team did. We really went in quite blind with this project, just a few inspiration pictures and exchanged a few phone calls with Chris. Chris and team took that and delivered such a beautiful and high quality, customized outcome. The bunk beds are better than we could have imagined. We let his team in our home while we were not there, they respected our home as if it were their own. They were kind, friendly, accommodating, and best of all CLEAN and professional. Jesse, the carpenter on the project gets a special shout out, as he was great to work with. I am not an easy customer to please, and through the duration of the project, I really had no notes/feedback for them. JSCC is "custom" is every sense of the word. Do you have a picture you want Chris and his team to mimic? Have your own design plan in your head? Maybe a mix of the two? Whatever carpentry job you want done you'd be a fool not to use Chris and his team.

We've worked with various contractors over the years. Some great, some not so great. I can say with confidence that none has surpassed the quality of work and customer experience that we got from Chris & JSCC.

They show up when they say they are. They are perfectionists (and I am hard to please). Chris never said "we can't do that" when I had an idea at the beginning, middle, or toward the end of our project.

They just wrapped up today. My wife and I cant stop talking about our custom reclaimed wood fireplace mantle and accent wall. I never leave reviews unless its an exceptional business, product, and experience. Chris and his crew fit that description to a tee.
